FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 887 64-bit donor and VirtuaWin 4.5 windows behavior bug

#1 Post by tfricot » 27.04.2023, 20:45

Hi,
After updating FreeCommder XE to build 2023, I noticed a "display" kind of bug behavior I hadn't with older versions.
The bug is linked with VirtuaWin v4.5 I use (under Windows 10 x64).
I made a small video record about what is happenning. To watch the small video the link is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P57OonpMnPg
The problem is the following: if I switch from another virtual screen when a window from FreeComander is opened, you see that it stuck for a few before switching to the other virtual screen.
The taller is the window opened, the longer is took to switch from another virtual screen.
Hope my explanation are clear.

Thierry

Thanks for your reply Marek. I tried that but no change, same behavior.

FYI use FreeCommander XE version 887 64 bit (hence donor version) on Windows 10 22H2 with VirtuaWin 4.5

1) Have seen the issue you describe in the past but it was infrequent

2) Have switched on the option that was linked to and have not seem it for quite some time

Can't be more specific as the issue was intermittent.

Thank you ok1 for your reply.
On my side, ticking on the option does no difference.
In it is not intermittent on my side, always produce if a menu window is open and I switch to another virtual desktop.
The solution is switching without any menu window displayed, so it is not a big deal.
