Display images as thumbnails
I can't figure out how to display a folder of .jpg & .png images as thumbnails so I don't have to open the quickview screen. Here's what I see: . They will auto-populate in Windows Explorer. How do I do this?

Re: Display images as thumbnails
It took several hours plus episodes of 'not responding' to show even a handful of images. There are 13K images in my icloud photos folder on my computer. Might FC be choking on this large folder? Here's a link to a dropbox screenshot: . In case this link doesn't work, I'll also attach it to an email.
Re: Display images as thumbnails
If your images are saved only in the iCloud and not on the local drive then it could be a problem.

Re: Display images as thumbnails
As I mentioned in my initial post, these are local files. In fact, photo thumbnails render much more quickly on the iCloud.com website than freecommander can do with local images. Freecommander is clearly choking on a folder with thousands of images. These large folders will be foinusers that synchronize their cloud photo repositories with a local drive. why not test it yourself so that you can see that this is an issue with free commander?

Tested with 15000 jpg files on local drive. No problem, thumbnail view works without any "not responding". FC 64 bit was faster.

It's good to know that FC can handle it on your computer. Any suggestions as to why I might be running into problems? I'm running 64-bit FChttps://www.dropbox.com/s/uk0dzid9pow6i ... n.png?dl=0 on a W11 64-bit new Microsoft SP9 machine with an I7 processor 32 gig of RAM and 1 TB SSD. What can I try next? FC is my "goto" file manager and this is important to me.
