Unique filter (Alt+Y) per panel?

I was somewhat surprised to find that when I applied a filter (Alt+Y) in the right panel, the same filter was automatically applied in the left panel rather than each panel behaving differently. I thought there might be a setting to change this behavior, but I could not find one. Does such a setting exist, or is it possible that it might be included in the future?

I am using FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 880 64-bit donor.
