Solved: Internal viewer highlighting

Is there an option to change foreground/background highlight colors? If so, could someone point it out to me?
It appears to be black foreground on white background, which is too bright for these tired old eyes.

If no option exists, could it please be added?

In any case, thank you, Marek, for the hard work you put into the best file manager.

Try to use one of the dark Color schemes.

Here you can change the colors:

To change all colors within the program just use any dark color scheme:

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have my own color scheme.

The viewer settings for text only apply to foreground/background colors for normal text.
I want to change the 'selected text' colors in the viewer.

It's blue background and white text here, with any color scheme.

Screenshot could help.

I'm not sure how the selected text colors are determined for the viewer. I don't have white background selected anywhere.

Perhaps the colors are from the OS, if you're using high contrast scheme in OS.

I do use a modified high-contrast theme, but my selected text colors are not black on white.
If I try different color schemes, I do get different selection highlighting, but I cannot find anything in the 'color' file relating to it.

Where are your viewer "selected text" colors ( blue background and white text) specified in settings?

I think those colors are used from the OS, so if you're using OS high contrast scheme, colors from this scheme is used in FC automatically.

Probably it's impossible to change these colors now.

Does your viewer selection highlighting match your system theme?
If it is supposed to come from the system theme, then the wrong colors are being coosen by FC.
I don't have black on white anywhere in my system theme.

O.K. I think I may have found the answer. It looks like FC is simply inverting the colors.

I examined the colors in hex mode. Normally, the hex columns are light cyan and yellow, with the ascii panel white on black.
When highlighted the colors are exactly inverted in both panels, which is actually a reasonable way of doing it, I think.

Thanks for taking the time to look at it. I do appreciate it.
