Synchronized browsing

#1 Post by mzzzzb » 11.01.2009, 14:12

this was posted some time back, the thread seems to have gone cold, so i repost it here

For exemple, if you double click at a folder named "Documents" on the left panel and a folder with the same name exists on the right panel, then the right panel should act also as if you had double clicked on the directory name, allowing you to browse the two structure at the same time.
i think this would be a great feature, extremely useful to compare and manually synchronize two folder structures

I second that request. I just found that feature in FileZilla (the FTP client), and immediately thought, 'Wow, that would be a great feature in FreeCommander!'.

Please consider adding this feature.

Would like to add my +1 to this.

Been a fan of FreeCommander for several years and have found it to be an invaluable tool.

Synchronised folder browsing would be the icing on the cake 8)

Is there any option to activate it in XE? I just tried it in 542, but it doesn't do anything that I can see.

"Linked browsing" seems broken in 542.

Yes, it should be fixed in 544.
