Open FC with the specified folder expanded in Tree windows.
Hi
Using FreeCommander XE 2023 Build 880 32-bit public/Windows 10
In a windows shortcut I'm using a parameter to specify a folder to display as default (R="E:\Camera") when opening FC.
FC is set to single pane with the Tree view visible.
Is it possible to get the folder in Tree view to display expanded so it lists it's subfolders?

Hi Dave,
I have a similar scenario. It is possible to do what you requested. Here is the procedure, assuming your Camera folder is on your D:\ drive.
Procedure
1) Open the Settings dialog box (F12).
2) In the Start program, click the Start/TEMP folder tab.
3) Under Start folder > Start with the following folders > Left panel, type D:\. (Alternatively, you can use the ellipses "..." to search for the folder.)
4) Under the Right panel, type D:\Camera.
5) Click Apply > Okay.
You may need to adjust the file path but now when you open FC, it takes you to your expanded Camera folder. There you go .

Unfortunately that doesn't work for me.
The treeview remains unexpanded & the focus remains on the RH pane.
As the LH pane isn't visible, does it need to be specified?

Re: Open FC with the specified folder expanded in Tree windows.
Hi again, Dave. I think the Tree must be locked open. My Tree settings are as follows.
Settings > View > Tree > File system tree > One tree for both panels selected.
Auto resize for main splitter changes selected.
Try that. Let me know.

Here is a screen shot of my Management tab settings. Wish this forum would allow picture uploads directly!! Hosting site style is antiquated.

Still no luck, I'm afraid.
My Tree settings are identical to yours & altering the computers settings made no difference.

Curious.. Can we communicate through our emails? It's easier than posting screen shots on this forum. No one seems to be interested in your issue, except me .
Do you have access to my email address?

Okay. Would you post a screen shot of your opening screen in FC?
