Switch Locked Folder To Current option does not work when the Tab is not active [FIXED]

#1 Post by Forez » 09.04.2023, 14:42

A locked path can be navigated in. And to go back to its original [i.e. locked] path a user can choose the Switch locked folder to current entry from its right click menu. But this option does nothing if this Tab is not the active one

I reckon, as I have just stipulated this above, that this option is to [by design] only reset the navigation within a locked Tab - but there really is no reason to have this option active for choosing and yet not performing a switch to this Tab [with its original path being opened in it]

Confirmed, to reproduce:
- go to tab 1, lock path for e.g. folder1
- go to folder1\subfolder1
- go to tab 2, lock path for e.g. folder2
- right click tab 1 while tab 2 is active
- use option "Switch locked folder to current"
= for tab 1 locked path is changed to "folder2" instead of "folder1/subfolder1"

BTW Right click the "Properties" item while other tab is active works good.

EDIT: I'm not sure if it's a bug, because the "current" folder is "folder2", but in Firefox similar option works for the inactive, "clicked" tab, for options like "reload tab" or "close tab".

This has been fixed - but there is another bug related to this: https://freecommander.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13534
