Hello,
I store files locally on my computer until I decide to move them to my NAS.
Becasue SMB between my computer and NAS is very slow, I use FTP which is much faster.
The issue is that with FTP, FC only allows to 'Copy' files. There is no 'Move' option.
Every time I want to move files to the NAS, I have to first copy them and than look again for the files copied and delete them manually from my computer.
Is there an option to add something like 'Delete files after copy' or just to allow the 'Move' operation also for FTP ?
Thank you,
Omer.
FTP: Add the option to Move files
Re: FTP: Add the option to Move files
Move with FTP is a dangerous option.
The transfer may be done in the wrong mode and all files are then defect for example.

Hello,
Thank you for replying.
With a normal copy you can also have issues and failure. Never the less, Isn't there any option for comparing content while/after it is copied ?
