Quick Search: make case insensitive

I noticed that the quick filter (quick search box at the pane's bottom) is case sensitive, when it hid files that I wanted to find but had the search string in capitalized letters, instead of "small" letters.

In settings, there is an option for diacritics, but not for case sensitivity, it seems.
The manual does not mention case sensitivity, and in the forum I could not find anything about this, neither.

Is it not possible to make quick search case insensitive?

The quick search case IS insensitive.
Shows an example if you have different experience.

I just wanted to reproduce and to capture it, but now I found it to be case insensitive, too.
Strange; sorry for the inconvenience!

In case it comes up again, I'd append it here.
