Hide certain files after duplicate search

#1 Post by Tjarko » 24.01.2022, 21:02

Hello forum,

After the search for duplicates (same file name but different file extensions jpg and mov)
IMG_0740.MOV
IMG_0740.JPG
IMG_0741.MOV
IMG_0741.JPG
only the mov files should be displayed so that they can be deleted.

That means, if all jpg and mov files are displayed with the same file names, then only e.g. the mov files should be displayed in order to be able to delete them.
IMG_0740.MOV
IMG_0741.MOV

How does it work?

Currently you can select the files only manually (Ctrl+Click).
For the next release 864 new selection functions are already implemented.
It will be possible to select files "All with the name pattern...", in your case you can select "*.mov" and then delete the selected files.

Hello Marek,

When will the next release 864 appear?
Clicking and deleting all mov files individually is too time-consuming for me.

You export the results to file container (Ctrl+E), then use quick filter to show only mov files, use *.mov to do this.
