To reproduce:
- use default settings
- on the left panel open Recycle Bin
- switch to details view
- right click the column header and select "Add/remove columns..."
- check "Date Deleted"
- right click the column header > column profiles > and click the item "Add current column profile specific to folder" and click OK
- right click the column header > automatic views > and click the item "Add current view specific to folder" and click OK
- F12 > view > column profiles/auto views > auto views > Recycle Bin
- use these options: content..: <None>, view type: Details, column profile: Recycle bin, sort on: "Date Deleted", descending
- apply, ok
- F12 > select items > nc mode > enable NC mode - all 4 options, apply
- view > file/folder list > refresh > disable second option and enable all other options, apply
- on the right panel open any folder on local disk
- F12 > View > File/folder list > Sorting > use option "Alphabetical - string sort", apply, ok
- open recycle bin in FC
= sorting is wrong, for time "2:05", probably it will be the same with any time between 2:00AM and 9:59AM
- now click the column header "Date Deleted" 2 times, so the icon change from "v" to "^" and back to "v"
- sorting is correct now!
- press ctrl+r to refresh view
= sorting is wrong again

cannot confirm
explicitly followed directions
...
- F12 > View > File/folder list > Sorting > use option "Alphabetical - string sort", apply, ok
- open recycle bin in FC
= sorting is correct, time: 6:17 AM
note, it doesn't make a difference if recycle bin is opened in left or right panel

Re: 807 - Recycle Bin sorting issue
You need to use also the column profiles and automatic views, it must be switched automatically.
Re: 807 - Recycle Bin sorting issue
Dear Dreamer, please be more diligent in the future and include all steps necessary to reproduce. As previously noted, I followed your directions explicitly.
Now I've added the step > activate checkbox "Switch view mode automatically on folder change"
cannot confirm
sorting is as configured
Best regards
Re: 807 - Recycle Bin sorting issue
I forgot to include that step, sorry.
Anyway, your screenshot helped me.
To reproduce, exit FC, press Win key > type "regional" > press Enter and change the "Regional format" option to "Slovak (Slovakia)" * (Windows language will not be affected), start FC - and the list must be auto-loaded, you can press Ctrl+R.
* OK, so it's broken also with:
"Czech (Czechia)"
"English (Finland)"
"English (Indonesia)"
"English (Israel)"
Probably also with other options, if the time format is "8:00", it's broken in FC, if the format is "08:00", it's OK in FC.

Re: 807 - Recycle Bin sorting issue
No problem, it can happen to the best and you are one of the best.
My pleasure.
It's great that you've gotten down to the root of the problem.
Best Regards
Re: 807 - Recycle Bin sorting issue
It's possible to fix this issue in the freecommande.ini file, only if sorting is broken, use this workaround:
It should work from version 808 donor, so also in FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 810a 32-bit public.Try to define in the [Form] section (open and close FC first and you can find empty line with TimestampDateSeparator=):
TimestampDateSeparator=.
for your Windows and the sorting should work.
