FTP Password Encryption

#1 Post by Aleksej » 12.05.2017, 07:04

Hello. I would like to save in FreeCommander XE connected to FTP with passwords.
1) It is safe?
2) FreeCommander XE stores them in an encrypted form? When I exported the settings, I saw that the passwords were encrypted.
3) Is it possible to specify a password for accessing or changing stored FTP connections?

Thankful in advance for the answer.

I'm not sure, but it seems the passwords are encrypted. At least when I exported the settings, the passwords were encrypted.

FTP passwords are encrypted in the config file.
Currently there is no password for entire FTP definition.
