#1 Post by joby_toss » 04.11.2014, 14:12

Now that internal UNRAR is a reality, would internal 7z support be implemented next? :)

There would be no benefit compared to the working Tota7zip plugin,
which also allows to always use the actual 7zip betas without any change in the plugin or FC.
And it also supports ISO, WIM and other formats.

Except not having to install some additional plugin. :)

Last update of Total7Zip plugin was on November 20, 2012 (and not every user knows about existence of such a plugin)
Total7Zip 0.8.5.6 uses 7z.dll version 9.22, but version 9.34 was released in June 22, 2014.

So the idea is very good!

Topic moved to Feature Requests.

+1, I requested it in this topic, in 2007.

You don't understand that you can always use the actual 7zip files for the Total7zip plugin.

I'm okay with as is.

I prefer using native 7-Zip in conjunction with the context menu.
