New Folder Unexpected Result

#1 Post by nsaxiom » 11.07.2014, 19:27

FreeCommander XE 2014 Build 665 public beta, Windows 7 SP1 64-bit

Steps:
Initiate new folder dialog

Enter '\1 \2 \3' (with spaces between).

FreeCommander creates a set of nested folders, i.e., '\1\2\3'; it also creates a folder named '\1 (2)'.

I found this while trying to figure out how to create multiple folders, I later found out to use the vertical bar (pipe) '|' to accomplish this.
The '\1 (2)' was unexpected.

Thanks

I confirm the same results.

I specified '\A \B' and got the expected '\A\B' built, but also got "\A (2)".
