633 How to view MS Office files w internal viewer?

#1 Post by Scott_Y » 08.08.2013, 05:30

Is it possible to view MS Office files (particularly, Word docs) with approximate formatting in the internal viewer (keyboard shortcut F3)? The standard text view does not provide any formatting or even paragraph breaks. Thanks.

Yes, it is possible.
You must first make the registry changes as desribed here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927009/en-us. Use proper Word/Excel version.
