689 - Panel focus issue in plain view modes

#1 Post by Dreamer » 22.03.2015, 15:29

- use default settings
- go to left panel
- use F6* to move a file from left to right panel
- focus is on the left panel
- press Tab to go to right (same) panel
- use F6* to move a file from right to left panel
- focus is on the right (same) panel

- now enable the plain view** and do the same...
- use F6* to move a file from left to right panel
- focus is on the left panel
- press Tab to go to right (same) panel
- use F6* to move a file from right to left panel
= focus is on the right (DIFFERENT) panel

* Of course, always press F6 and Enter
** The same for all 3 plain view modes

I'm not 100% sure it's a bug, but while testing the other bug it was quite annoying, when the focus should be on the right panel, I changed panel with Tab to go to left panel, but the focus changed back to right panel, so I had to press Tab twice. The problem is that it works differently with and without plain view mode, therefore it's confusing.

FC 689 x64, Win7 x64.

confirmed!

AND:
-now switch on 'Use FreeCommander' for Move operation
-repeat all your steps
-auto refresh won't work reliably on the plain-viewed panel
(win10pro x64) - (latest FCXE x64 portable)

Original bug looks fixed.

Closed.

Anyway, I found another issue with plain view, I'll report it in the new topic.
