609 Cannot Drag and Drop File

With FC 2009 I was able to drag and drop files from hard drive to my mobile device. With XE I get an error message, "Cannot copy item . The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected." However, I don't have a problem doing the exact same operation with FC 2009. Can any one help me?

I have the latest version (from the testversion FCXE 619), the setup version, installed and I drag and drop everything to a stick without a problem:



I have also looked in my Setup, it looks like this:



You can see that the file is draged and droped:



Maybe you come further with this...

Thank you for your input. However, your method works fine because you're using a stick that FC recognizes as a drive where FC doesn't recognize mobile devices, i.e. my pocket pc. Therefore, I'm dragging and dropping from FC to a windows explorer window in order to copy a file. In FC 2009 this works fine, but in FC XE I get the error.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I just found out if I right click context menu and copy and past from FC XE window to explorer window of my mobile device, the operation works. So, drag and drop doesn't work, but copy and paste does. Does anyone know what this is the case?

I just installed v628 (was on v622) and this problem is now fixed!! Thanks Marek! Do you have any plans for FCXE recognizing mobile devices?
