Wrong color for folders

#1 Post by bege » 04.05.2017, 01:59

Settings File/folder list > Item colors > Color by attributes
Read only: Color is set, Only for files.
Nevertheless FCXE 745 and previous versions shows folders with read only attribute colored.

Can someone verify this issue or is it only on my computer?

I wanted to test it, but I can't make folders "read only", it's always some semi-state. (Windows 10 64 bit)

There is no difference between a folder or file for the read-only attribute.
The Checkbox Ordner (Folder) not set does not mean you have selected files only.
This box is to select the attribute folder and nothing else.

I don't believe this is correct. The attribute "Folder" (Ordner) is set by the top left checkbox.
Former versions of FCXE didn't show colors for folders at all. I think the checkbox "Nur für Dateien" (Files only) has been added some time ago and it seems not to work correctly.

Edit: Now I see that probably you misunderstood me and I misunderstood you. I talked about the check box at the bottom: "Nur Dateien" (Files only). I think folders should not get that color if that box is checked.

Yes, I misunderstood you.
And I agree that folders should not be colored in your case.
