Hi,
I recently noticed, that unpacking of certain zip files showed some errors, so I did some investigation on that. As an example file you can use this one:
http://openlayers.org/download/OpenLayers-2.13.1.zip
If I unpack it, it throws a "Create directory failed" error on the file "examples/example-list.js". It is an empty file (0 bytes), and it is successfully unpacked.
Unpacking with other tools (e.g. winrar or linux unzip) doesn't show any error on the zip file.
One more comment on the unpack feature: it would be great, if sorting on the "Error message" column would be possible, on a large file it's pretty difficult to find the error line.

632 Unzip fails for some files
Re: 632 Unzip fails for some files
Confirmed in FC XE 632 on Windows XP 32 bit. Problem both present when unpacking in internal fcZip and Total7Zip plugins.
Agree, that:

But it doesn't keep timestamp, isn't it ?preisl wrote:It is an empty file (0 bytes), and it is successfully unpacked.
Re: 632 Unzip fails for some files
It does keep the timestamp, but interesting enough the empty file is not being shown in the file list when browsing the file (open the zip file with the Return key), see https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/862 ... error1.pngetc. wrote:But it doesn't keep timestamp, isn't it ?preisl wrote:It is an empty file (0 bytes), and it is successfully unpacked.
For the record, this happens on Win7 64bit.

Martin
P.S.: I noticed an error on a second zip file as well, I wouldn't have reported that otherwise.
Re: 632 Unzip fails for some files
If you open OpenLayers-2.13.1.zip in FC XE by pressing Ctrl-PageDown on archive and open "example" folder, then you'll see that "example-list.js" is shown not like a file, but as a FOLDER. You even could open that folder (it's shown as empty).
But in reality there is no such FOLDER in that archive. You could unpack it with 7-zip, and you'll see empty FILE "example-list.js".
Tested with other archives (in zip and 7z formats) and everywhere any file with zero-lenght (for some unknown reason) is recognized as a folder.
That's why we get error during unpack.

Re: 632 Unzip fails for some files
Just tried to find the second zip with the same error, it's
http://www.flotcharts.org/downloads/flot-0.8.1.zip
The identical issue occurs with 0 byte build.log in that file. Timon you're right, the file appears as folder.
