[solved - thanks] 623 - weird Tree/Favourite Panel width

#1 Post by alf5000 » 23.05.2013, 21:23

this is an ugly one for me.

try the following:
1) untick 'Show command line' (Settings - View - DOS Prompt)
2) be sure to activate 'One tree per panel' (Settings - View - Tree)
3) show the Tree for the left Panel (shortkey: alt+t)
4) close FCXE.623 and restart it --> tree panel shrinks (repeat it and it shrinks even more)

I tick 'Show command line' and everything's o.k. - if I untick it FCXE.623 starts spooking on my configuration.

It seems it is some problem with the new option "Auto resize for main splitter changes" (default is checked).
"Show command line" has no influence.

switching off 'Auto resize for main splitter changes' does not change the described behavior on my configuration

[but switching on/off 'Show command line' does the trick for me. edit: 'Show command line' is does not have a real impact, but seems to help randomly]

For me none of the two options helps.

The tree is always only 5 mm wide. (tree for both windows)
