596 - clear history in quick filter not working

some bugs I found after testing 596:
- clear history in quick filter not working "hClearDirHistQF0"
- 595 used to resolve "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Desktop" correctly
(win explorer still does, 596 does not)

Fixed for the release 597.

not true, C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Desktop problem persists in 597
