Filter= in [TAB_UUID] sections in FreeCommander.ini

#1 Post by Free4all » 21.05.2019, 00:17

In FreeCommander.ini, for all [Tab_UUID] sections, there is a Filter= item, most of which have a UUID assigned.

Are these supposed to be specifying which filter to apply to the view? If so, it's odd to see Filters listed, because I'm not using any filters. (Is this a bug?)

Are these filters like "*.zip;*.7z" etc., or something else entirely?

Where are the filters for each filter UUID defined?

In the FreeCommmander.ini file, can I just delete the UUID in each Filter= line to ensure no filters are being used for each locked tab?

It seems to be a bug.

Thanks Marek. So is it safe to delete everything after Filter= in each [TAB_UUID] section?
