Search within archives

#1 Post by deadline » 17.05.2013, 21:03

In FreeCommander 2009.02b, it was possible to search within ZIP, RAR and CAB archives.

FC XE seems to offer searches only within ZIP archives.

Will this be expanded to RAR and CAB in the formal release?

Many thanks.

Strange, it works here, I tried the RAR archive and it works in build 621 (6201).

Perhaps you need to add RAR and CAB to FileExtensions field in Settings > Archiver plugins in this format:

Code: Select all

zip.cab.jar.rar.001

I'm not at my system, but I'll try this when I get home. Thanks.
