Hi,

freecommander version : 2007.10.a
os: windows XP
office version : 2007
language : english

The quickpreview doesn't work for microsoft office files but works fine for the other file formats (ex: .pdf). If I do a left single clic on a .doc file or a docx file the word application is launched as an independant windows...not as a plug-in....

I tried the same procedure on an other computer with office 2003 and everything work fine.(ctrl + q active the included viewer)

Ben
ps: thanks guys for providing a so usefull software

You can try the registry "hack":

Word 2007:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Word.Document.8]
"BrowserFlags"=dword:80000024

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Word.Document.12]
"BrowserFlags"=dword:80000024

Excel 2007:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Excel.Sheet.8]
"BrowserFlags"=dword:80000A00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Excel.Sheet.12]
"BrowserFlags"=dword:80000A00
