Hi!
The Auto-refresh funktion doesn't work with my FreeCommander.
I have installed the newest Version 2009.02 on a Windows XP SP3 system.
Eventhough I have marked in the settings the Auto Refresh for
- fixed
- removable
- remote
drives it doesnt work and I have to press Strg+R to refresh every time.
Maybe someone has an idea?!?!
Thanks to everybody who even reads my post

Autorefresh doesn't work...
I haven't had any problem like that (yet), but when I made some changes in the refresh settings today, I had to do it over and over several times before the boxes that I unchecked stopped getting checked again. To make that a little clearer -- I unchecked two and closed the options dialog. Then I opened it again, and what I had unchecked was still checked. Or just one would revert. Finally the changes became permanent. I don't know what is going on there!

Still dosn't work though...matera wrote:I haven't had any problem like that (yet), but when I made some changes in the refresh settings today, I had to do it over and over several times before the boxes that I unchecked stopped getting checked again. [update: the problem is actually with windows, that doesn't show either the I drive... sorry]
My problem is it won't either autorefresh neither refresh after plugging a USB stick.
The only way to access my removable drive is to put the drive letter in the address window. The drive pull-down menu also doesn't show its letter even after using it. BTW the letter in the case is I, is there a limit for them?
My version is FreeCommander 2009.02 donor.
Cheers.

Running 2009.02a and Windows7.
After running an application favourite (i.e. having started an external program using FreeCommander), there seems to be no autorefresh, too.
I'm using application favourites to start an external tool just in order to correct folder timestamps --> so it is essential that I can check the result.
But FC obviously does not react to change events issued by Win7 in case of folder timestamp changes. After a manual refresh the correct folder date is shown.

Any updates
We are experiencing the same problem.
It seems to be only on networked drives. But frame never refreshes automatically.
Any updates would really be appreciated. We love all aspects of the application but have some users that won't/can't understand the concept of manually refreshing.
Thank you,
Marc
