Some lists of problems: FTP, window-setings, text, coping

#1 Post by RMV1983 » 06.01.2009, 12:49

During use of FreeCommander, I have found some list of problems:

Wn XP SP2 + MS puthes; FC 2008.06c

1. with FTP
After some time, there is a FTP disconection, but it is not problem. The problem is that FC can't restore it, but just show error-text-message. I have to press 'Disconect' and then try to conect again.
If during this problem window FTP-atributs was activated, than it is not possible do anithing, becouse FTP-atributs could not be closed and I can not press 'Disconect'.
The error message were (russian):
'10054 Удалённый хост принудительно разорвал существующее подключение'
and
'DirectoryListing-ChangeCurrentDir: (10053) Программа на вашем хост-компьютере разорвала установленное подключение.'
The problem repead regulary.

2. with FTP-sheets
Not regulary.
Errors, when using some sheets of one FTP-connection.

3. Settings for window of FC does not save for 'fullscreen' and usual window screen. Just for current, but not for bouth.

4. Can not see russian DOS-text (in notepad it could be made with font terminal, as far as I know).

5. Problems with coping files with use current dir or windows's psate if it repeads.
Trying use the same comand 2 or more times make errors: first - not readable message in copy-box and second - error during making operation.

PS: My native language is russian

Please read the forum rules and search before posting. Most of these problems are probably relating to (missing) unicode support. Search the word "unicode" to find a solution.

I have the same issues with FTP.
It breaks the connection very often and can't reconnect automatically.

Plus, putting files on FTP is very slow.

Thanks, but I do not use Unicode for FTP .
All files have only English letters in their names. (I mean. that absolutely all files, with I work with FTP, have English names.)

PS: I searched, but not found as solution, as description of the same problem. May be my searching was not good.

PPS: What about other problems?
I can not understend influenses Unicode for others problems (exept may be N4)

I mean this forum rule:

• Post different questions, issues, or suggestions in separate threads.

It's easier to reply if you create a new topic for each problem.
