Enhance the PDF viewer possibility

#1 Post by ronaldvr2132 » 17.11.2019, 11:36

The main reason that I started the use FreeCommander was for quickly scroll through a lot of pdf files in one folder. I did this by pressing F3 and that worked just fine with the combination of PDF-XChange Viewer.
However since I have started to use 4K screens the viewing is very zoomed in and I can't figure out to show the whole page or page width only. It might be that there is a better way of viewing PDF files quickly and if so can someone let me know what to do? What I am searching for is to have in the viewer the ability to scan through pages in one file, but also move to the next and previous file in the folder within the viewer and then have the ability to fit the output of the viewer to the page width or to show the whole page. Hope this can be done already and if not can this be added somehow?

What is your used FC version?
If you use 790a, try the current beta 804.

Try one of the options:
- try to move .pdf type from 'as Window preview' to 'as Internet/Office' https://freecommander.com/fchelpxe/en/General5.html
- try to change High DPI Settings for freecommander.exe as described here :
1- go to your install folder (\Program Files (x86)\FreeCommander XE ussually)
2- right click on FreeCommander.exe, and select properties --> compatibility tab --> Change hight DPI settings
3- click to enable High DPI scalling override (select performed by application).
4- save and exit
