I love FC and use it every day. Thank you SO much for this program.
It is by far the most useful tool I have ever encountered for Windows!
My question is however, when FC is open, and in use, can it be configured to "stay" up regardless of what is open or clicked on?
I use Notepad alot and it would help so much if FC stayed up so I could see file names and such while I make editing changes on files.
Does such a thing exist or is there a way to do this?
FC praise and question
Hello,
you can use an external Viewer for the Quickview of FC. For text-files I use e.g. SynPlus (http://totalcommander.free.fr/synplus.html). This is a text-editor-plugin and with this you can edit the text-files in the second FC-window while previewing it.
Or you can use an use an external Tool for setting selected windows "on top".
