Leading Space In Foldername

I use a leading space in a sub-folder name to cause it to sort to the top of the list.

For example:
MyMainFolder
LeadingSpace SubFolder
A-Second SubFolder
Third-SubFolder

If I copy "MyMainFolder" and paste it in a different drive, the leading space is lost and results in:
MyMainFolder
A-Second SubFolder
LeadingSpace SubFolder
Third-SubFolder

Currently using FreeCommander XE 2020 813 64-bit donor on Windows 10 64-bit ver 1909

Copy&Paste use Windows function for copy operation. Windows remove leading space.
Set the File/folder operations for copy/move for "Use FreeCommander" and use F5 for copy - leading space is saved.

All File/Folder settings already show "Use FreeCommander".
Copy/Move with Vista and higher shows "Use FreeCommander method"
This operation was to an external drive.

F5 was not used.
Operation was initiated with Toolbar icon in split - "Copy" which says "command executor depends on the settings"

Edit: Might have used Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V with items hightlighted in FreeCommander.
