#1 Post by famine » 08.02.2020, 07:30

Hi,
Google translate sorry.
1. When the quick view panel is open, double-clicking to open the file may cause the file to be automatically deleted (not moved to the recycle bin!)..Three times already.
2. Automatically rename all files automatically selected.

Footnote: the deleted file is not an image file, but an.fla file.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand, could you explain it more, please? Do you have the problem with .fla files, or any files, e.g. .jpg? Is it on a standard HDD/SSD or image file? Steps to reproduce, like this:
- focus *.jpg file
- enable quick viewer
- double click the image / or double click the file in file list
= file is deleted
Also try to reproduce it without plugins. How to test it:

Hi, Dreamer
I don't dare to use the 810a version anymore, because it might cost me days of work.I think it's hard for me to reproduce this bug.
This is only true for.fla files, not for any other files that can be previewed (.txt.pdf.jpg).Files are stored on standard HDDS.In addition, the plugin has been used on 804 and other versions for about half a year without any similar situation, so it should not be their problem.
The.fla file displays a garbled code in the quick view panel, which I think could cause an error. If so, the bug could be in any file type that doesn't have a quick preview.
Also, I added files to the lgnore list in the configure viewer that don't need to be displayed in the quick view panel, but it didn't work.Perhaps the software should automatically exclude files that cannot be previewed from the quick view panel. After all, it makes no sense to display garbled code.

Do you have this problem always, or just sometime, randomly?

I'm still not sure where is the problem, when you double click the .fla file in the file list, is it deleted? Or if you double click the quick viewer area, .fla file is deleted? Try to explain it, please.

Perhaps the screenshot(s) would help.

Regarding the ignore list, I think I can reproduce it, I never used it, I'll create a new topic for this.

The problem is not at a fixed time.
Here's how it works: after I double-click to open the file, nothing changes in the file list, but after I've worked for a while, maybe a few minutes to a dozen minutes, the software alerts me that the file no longer exists. Then I checked the file list and recycle bin, and the file was gone.I have no idea what happened in the process. So I can't take a screenshot.
To be sure, the file wasn't deleted when I double-clicked on the file list or the quick viewer area.At least not then.

You could drag&drop the file to other folder by mistake, try to search for the lost file, Ctrl+F.

To prevent this open the Settings (F12) > File/folder operations > Drag&Drop > and disable the first option, or disable the option "Show popup menu for left button drop".

Hi, Dreamer
The reason has been found out that saving the file during a quick preview will cause the file to be deleted, which should be caused by different applications reading and writing at the same time.
It has been reproduced in freecommander 810/804, and the same problem exists in Total Commander9.22.
Further testing. Txt.pdf.doc. PSD. Fla. Ai, the situation only occurs when saving. Fla (Adobe Animate20.01).
Save the. Ai file when prompted for read-only.
.txt.pdf.doc.psd saved as normal.
