How to speedup start of FC? Needs 22 seconds (!) here

Much to my surprise FC needs very, very, very long to start.

On my 3 years old quite good computer with core i5, 8 GB RAM and Windows 7 64bit it needs
22 (!) seconds to start.

This is very strange. All other programs start within a couple of seconds or even faster.

Whats wrong?

How can I speedup FC?

On my 5 year old system (CPU i5-750, 8GB ram, Win 7 64 bit) FCXE version 715 starts in about 2 seconds.

Try starting FC with the default settings. You may have set the starting folders to a network share which is not available.
