Quick Access Popup - how to include

#1 Post by norbertk » 02.12.2020, 08:35

There is a great tool - QAP (quickaccesspopup.com) - available, to navigate in filesystem, while searching, storing, ...

QAP pop's up whileclicking middle mouse (configurable), then you can navigate with the QAP-meu. It's more flexible then Favourites in FC. It sends at least the "clicked path" to the "app behind". That works with normal Explorer but also cmd-Window. The question is, how to use in FC?
Any suggestion?

Thanks, Norbert

In QAP Options / File Managers set it to QAPconnect.
Then select Free commander in the menu.
Modify the QAPconnect.ini to set your path to FC.

... had found this before. Now getting an error, while saving - ether Windows Explorer or QAPconnect: QuickAccessPopup-64-bit.exe / Error: Menu name too long. / Line# / 3812: Menu,%strMenuName%.Add
May be, while having more then 500 live-folders?

Looks like it works now. But ...
FE is doing something, but isn't changing DIR!?
Is there anything to do/change in FE?
