Nowhere! You can only see the content of a drive.
The tree-window shows not the tree-view like explorer.

Look at your ini-File, there ist written "DirMonSensitive=2" not "DirMonSensitive=2".
The command in ini-Files can only be interpreted if they are standing alone in a line.

Hello, I can't confirm this behaviour, every filemanager under windows interprets a doubleclick on a file as the main action which is defined for this filetype in the registry. In most cases it is "open". I've never seen your described behaviour on XP or Vista with FC. A single click on a ...

Hello, you can use an external Viewer for the Quickview of FC. For text-files I use e.g. SynPlus ( http://totalcommander.free.fr/synplus.html ). This is a text-editor-plugin and with this you can edit the text-files in the second FC-window while previewing it. Or you can use an use an external Tool ...

You can define a personal layout for the details view. Open Help - the menus - view and scroll down to Layouts (or search for layout).
There you read how to make a new layout. It's possible to add an extension-column.

Hi Rudi,

this is a windows-setting not a FC-setting. Use the control-panel to change the color of selected items.

Ok Fad, I've tried a few FC-views and found a little bit white space on every view, but you've found a view whith no white space. Excuse me. Try to make your name- or size-column a litte bit smaller and you get white space on the right side of the files. http://img485.imageshack.us/img485/6918/scree...

Hello Fad Yes, that works as well, I didn`t realise you could do that as I`m so used to not doing it  The drawback to this is that if the list contains hundreds or thousands of items, it`s not the easiest way. I think you havn't tested this feature long enough. In every view in the file-window...

I think, this feature isn't necessary because you can doubleclick on every free space in the file-window to go one level up (e.g. below the last file or right of the attribute-column).
