Re: How to set colour of toolbar background?
Dreamer, yeah, I looked at those settings - but I don't want to change the colours of the tabs, themselves - just the tabbar background and the toolbar background.

Re: Freezes on Network Shares
Running Build 750 on Windows 7. So, I was working on one of the secretary's computers, fixing some of her firefox profiles. It was time to go, so I left, and I left the tabs open in FC to folders on her computer. Then she shut down her computer and went home. Later, when I came back to my desk, I sa...

Re: 'New Text File' command - suggestion
Yes, you have to type the extension. That is actually handy for me, since I create all sorts of empty text files such as .ahk, .bat, .css, .html, .txt, .js, etc. However, it ONLY creates text files. You can't create a new excel file this way, even though you can create a new file with an .xlsx exten...

Re: 'New Text File' command - suggestion
Ah, maybe you need the setting for it... Go to Settings > Programs > Editors and set your program for text files. I have notepad3 set to open * because I like doing that. Also, I have it set in Settings > Programs > Viewers to be the viewer for %ActivItem% I'm not sure if those settings have to do w...

Re: 'New Text File' command - suggestion
If you add a standardized name, I think it should be an option - I like to name it at creation time just like it is now.
However, the second option is already the case. When I create a new file, test.txt, it is automatically opened in notepad (my default).

Re: Working UNDO / REDO feature workaround
Haha! Here's an easier way! Just put this code in an autohotkey script ( courtesy of the ahk forum ): PostMessage, 0x111, 28699, 0, SHELLDLL_DefView1, % "ahk_id " hWnd ;WM_COMMAND := 0x111 ;Undo last action PostMessage, 0x111, 28704, 0, SHELLDLL_DefView1, ahk_class Progman ;send redo last ...

Re: Working UNDO / REDO feature workaround
Dreamer, You say to set the Copy/Move/Delete settings all to "Use FreeCommander". But then you are sending hotkey commands to Windows Explorer. I don't understand how Explorer can undo an action performed in FC. Okay, I did test a little bit. In FC I have the settings all set to "Use ...

Dragging shortcuts to the tabbar
Hmmm... I think that when you drag a folder shortcut to the tab-bar that it ought to open the target instead of the parent.

Set Timestamp for Accessed
When I open the RAHS Attributes/Timestamp panel, the "Accessed" option is greyed out for me. I have a few files where the timestamps got borked when I dragged files between FC and XnView MP ( Read all about it my XnView MP thread ), and am trying to fix them (don't know if the problem come...

Re: 709 - context menu problem?
Maybe this has to do with the 32bit context menu vs the 64bit context menu.
The items can be different in each.
If you right-click, you get one of them;
If you ctrl+right-click you get the other.

Change of Drive During Copy Operation With Pause Failure
Recently I tried to copy a large quantity of files to an external drive using FC's copy action. The drive was getting hot so I paused the copy operation. Then I turned the drive off so it could cool, and left the FC copy operation on pause. When the drive cooled, I turned it back on and unpaused the...

Re: Can't open just ONE folder
Thanks Dreamer, I *think* it's a 1.5TB Seagate - I got it back before I knew what I was doing - but it's been in there for over 5 years with heavy use. I'm replacing it with a 2GB WD Black ($80!). I've gotten most of the stuff I wanted that I had not yet backed up. It's not *completely* dead, but ce...
