Re: Build 744: Sets wrong current directory for executed fil
I can confirm this bug report. I created the test BATCH file as described, copied the file and executed it from several different folders in my file system and different drives. With FCXE 743 and 744 it always displayed the path of the install directory. With FCXE 742 it always displayed the path co...

Re: Use of XxHash instead of or besides MD5
MD5 is very useful for comparing downloaded files with the published MD5 values from the website. File Hippo gives an MD5 for each of the files that can be downloaded. SHA-1 and SHA-256 are also offered by some download sites and would be more useful than XxHash (which I have never seen a published ...

Re: 741 - Size of folders (Alt+F9) stopped working
I tested this in Release 742 64-bit portable and it now works from the tree selection.
Thank you Marek!

Re: 741 - Size of folders (Alt+F9) stopped working
Marek you are correct. Using Alt+F9 with a folder highlighted in the File Panel causes all the folders in that panel AND all the other folders that can be opened from the Folder Tree to display the folder sizes. My problem was that when I opened Free Commander to my default folder, it was not clear ...

741 - Size of folders (Alt+F9) stopped working
741 - Select a folder in the tree with sub-folders and press Alt+F9 and nothing happens.
This worked fine in Release 740 and previous releases I tested.
741 - Select a folder on the detail list and press "Space" or Ctl-F9 and the folder size is displayed correctly.

Re: R740 Command line option /Panel=R fails
Marek, Release 741 seems to have fixed the problem, but with a slightly delayed display. I tested using both "-Panel=R" and "/Panel=R" command line arguments for both the 32-bit and 64-bit portable versions and the results were the same. When FreeCommanderXE opens the Tree and Fi...

Re: Help files
It would be very helpful if the help file download page had a Modified Date next to each of the help zip files.
Currently we have to download the help file to see if it has been updated.

R740 Command line option /Panel=R fails
R740 Command line option /Panel=R fails under certain conditions Here are the steps needed to reproduce this problem: Start FCXE 740 with the command line: FreeCommander.exe /ini=test.ini /panel=R -- where test.ini does not exist (a default file is created) Initially this results in the Right panel ...

Re: Toggle current view and thumbnail view don't work proper
I agree with Carlos (cadudesun). I have the Toggle Thumbnails icon in my toolbar and use it frequently with folders with icons or pictures to more easily select one. I too have noticed that when I switch folders while in Thumbnail mode, the next time I click on the Toggle Thumbnail icon The display ...

Re: Synology NAS Drive No Longer Seen in Network List
I am using FreeCommanderXE Release 726 on Windows 10 64-bit and it finds my NAS device as a network share like it always has. I have a Seagate Black Armour NAS 220 which I have been using for several years without any problems. You should check to see how the Windows File Explorer sees your Synology...

726 - Outline border of splitter bar missing
In version 724 the Main splitter has a one pixel wide border on each side. This is missing in version 726 x32 and x64. I think the border adds definition to the splitter and would like to have it back, even as an option if the removal was done by design. (I have not tested version 725 to see if that...
