Does your viewer selection highlighting match your system theme?
If it is supposed to come from the system theme, then the wrong colors are being coosen by FC.
I don't have black on white anywhere in my system theme.

I do use a modified high-contrast theme, but my selected text colors are not black on white. If I try different color schemes, I do get different selection highlighting, but I cannot find anything in the 'color' file relating to it. Where are your viewer "selected text" colors ( blue backg...

I'm not sure how the selected text colors are determined for the viewer. I don't have white background selected anywhere.

I have my own color scheme.

The viewer settings for text only apply to foreground/background colors for normal text.
I want to change the 'selected text' colors in the viewer.

Is there an option to change foreground/background highlight colors? If so, could someone point it out to me? This issue was fixed in version 844. So, this has been reintroduced since then.

I am seeing wrong background color in several settings dialogs with high contrast theme on Windows10.
I see similar in start program, programs, compare folders, select items, archiver plugins, and tree dialogs.
It appears to be the same in 846 as well.

In version 848 is FCIcons64.dll no longer needed?
If I remove or rename it there is no effect. If this is true, why is it still present in the distribution?

I can confirm this.
In 'Pack files dialog', as soon as 'Create one archive per file' is selected, the 'Target' selection is greyed out and cannot be changed.

I can confirm this using high-contrast dark theme. The background color for search results in 'Location' tab and 'Duplicates' tab is wrong if 'Find duplicate files' is checked in 'Duplicates' tab. For me it is still usable (white text on dark gray instead of black).
