Re: 707: FTP, character formats

No-one else is having this issue?

The dev can get an account on my FTP to verify if needed

FC hangs/freezes too often

I am using Build 716 32-bit public beta (but this has been an issue since I started using FC a couple of months ago - also in release versions). To me FC hangs way too often. There are other threads with the same issue but it does not seem like there are many replies from the dev or others. Is this ...

707: FTP Upload still broken

Trying to upload to my QNAP Nas (via D&D or F5 or Shift+F5) gives me: --------------------------- FreeCommander --------------------------- Operation is not supported! --------------------------- OK --------------------------- 220 NASFTPD Turbo station 1.3.2e Server (ProFTPD) [192.168.0.195] 331...

Re: Slow Networking Issue

Is this a known problem? That the UI hangs for 2-3 seconds doing copy, move or delete operations.

Can something be done about it? I work a lot with networked drives and it severely limits the usability.

Re: Slow Networking Issue

I also find Freecommander very slow working with mapped network drives (especially copy/move operations) compared to Windows Explorer.

Re: FTP: Open saved site

Oh, OK: that was not so intuitive.

I don't use any drive bars. It's not possible to have it show up in the folder tree so people can see it's there?

707: FTP, character formats

There seems to be a problem with interpreting non-ASCII folder names on FTP servers.

Re: FTP: Open saved site

OK, I can find saved sites if I enter ftp:// in the address bar. This is probably not too user friendly. Also, I am worried the actual file is still in /temp

FTP: Open saved site

I am testing the new Beta for FTP functions. I have saved a site and get a *.ftp file in my temp folder. I guess I need to move it to some other location so it does not get deleted by accident. However, how do I open this saved connection? Clicking it does nothing and changing default program to Fre...

Re: Cannot focus in the Quick VIew pane using keyboard

It does work setting focus to the panel, thanks!

I agree with the problems:
[*]No shortcuts work
[*]Missing indication of where focus is

Thanks

Re: Cannot focus in the Quick VIew pane using keyboard

Well, I guess one of the reasons is that to the software is designed for keyboard use - and using the keyboard is faster (in this context)

Cannot focus in the Quick VIew pane using keyboard

I have a 2 pane setup with the Quick View showing in the "opposite" pane. I also use the uLister plugin and the Oracle viewers. When I do Ctrl+Q, the quick view window opens - but I cannot put focus in it using the keyboard (so I can scroll in text). I saw someone else mention this was a p...

I know. But not fully.

Any hints regarding my problem?
