619 + Win8/64 + 120%: Settings dialog not tall enough
Some settings (in the settings dialog) are inaccessible on my system. The dialog panel isn't tall enough at 120% font size to show all of the embedded settings frame. http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/2440/settingsdialogsizeissue.png Please consider allowing the user to resize the settings dialog.

Bug? Scrollbar thumbs appearance...
In recent betas, the tree scrollbars display in "flat mode", but the file list scrollbars display in "3D" mode.
(I think all flat looks best!)

Re: Request: "Quick view here" and "Quick view opposite"
Ctrl+Q QV as in settings Ctrl+Shift+Q QV in the opposite panel to Ctrl+Q. That makes good sense. The simpler the better! (I was hoping for a button, though. 8) ) Marek: Thank you for listening AND responding to us. FreeCommander is really shaping up nicely! The flexibility of the FreeCommander UI i...

Request: "Quick view here" and "Quick view opposite"
Most of the time I like to display Quickview inside the current file panel, like so: http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/2574/quickviewsettings.jpg But on an ad hoc basis, it is sometimes preferable to show the Quick view in the opposite panel. For one file it seems a bit too much effort to change th...

Re: Are there plans to support WDX plugins?
Hi Marek Thanks again for responding! I think about file system plugins first. Just a Windows guy here, sorry. I completely understand if additional file systems have higher priorities for other users. Could you name some examples where you absolutely need the columns from the WDX? Sure! The followi...

Re: Request: Remember QuickView splitter by plugin
Hi Marek, Thanks for responding! My idea is simply for XE to save (and restore) the QuickView splitter position for each QV plugin when the user has selected "One viewer per panel". For instance, if a user selects a specific plugin for a .txt file and sets the QV splitter position, then XE...

Are there plans to support WDX plugins?
The file metadata supported by WDX plugins are essential to my use of a file manager. Indeed, their absence from XE is one of the few remaining features that prevent me from switching full-time to FreeCommander from another tool. In the competitor product, the WDX column values are available to use ...

Request: Autohide panel toolbars for mouse users
I am a big fan of the panel toolbars and use them constantly. However, there are so many buttons on my XE toolbars (all of them useful, I might add) that IMO the window looks a bit cluttered. Since toolbars are mostly for mouse users anyway, perhaps some of the toolbars could have an autohide option...

Request: Remember QuickView splitter by plugin
Please consider an option to save the QV splitter position by file type or plugin. These options display the viewer inside the current panel: http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/6499/quickviewoptions.png For some file types (for instance: image and text files) it is best for the QV splitter to show m...

Request: "Flat" theme option
Please consider an option to "flatten" the 3-D elements of the display. Currently the file list headers, the file-list scroll bars, and the QuickFilter boxes are set to display the 3-D effect. Also, the toolbars have etched borders, dividing them from the menu and from the screen elements ...

Re: 596 Speed/opening.
On initial display, 596 seems to unnecessarily alternate toolbar themes before settling down.
I first see what appears to be the default theme (with gradients), then my theme (flat, etc), then the default theme again, then my theme.

Re: File Containers suggestions
Indeed, a bi-state property of the file container would be good... defined when the container is initialized (with the default value probably being "virtual") but also selectable by the user at any time via a property setting.
