F1 key still can't be customized in XE635.
I understand that FCXE help-file has priority at the moment, but ...?!?
will it come back??

[solved - thanks, marek] 634 - F1 key no longer customizable
I used to press F1 key to quickly close the active folder tab - F1 doesn't close folder tab in XE634 anymore, but it is assigned correctly: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/142 ... orking.png

Re: 633 - Rename File/Folder issue
nope. WinExplorer just asks for 'Administrator privileges' and then renames the file. (haven't tried with TC)Timon wrote:So, if you try to rename file in Windows Explorer or Total Commander and get the same error - then it is not FC XE problem.

633 - Rename File/Folder issue
My friend gave me an external hdd with lots of data on it. I don't know why, but I need administrator rights for changing those files/folders. If I want to move/delete a folder with FC, I get this message (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14257223/Opera_forum_pics/Freecommander/NO_delete.png) - t...

[fixed]: F10/Dual Pane bug
F10 has some weird effect on 'Toggle folder tree display' on my machine. 1) set 'One tree per pane' 2) set 'Show folder tree' for left pane 3) set 'Don't show folder tree' for right pane 4) activate right pane 5) press f10 --> you have got one pane now with no folder tree; that's o.k. 6) press f10 a...

feature request: could you also assign 'Esc' to close the confirmation dialogue?

XE629
there have been lots of improvements concerning startup-time all over the previous XE releases

Re: FC Locks Drive - Can't Eject Safely
What happens if you just physically remove the locked drive? 1) you risk loss of data (not highly likely, though) 2) Win7 somehow 'notices' unsafe ejecting. after doing it several times it prompts you to do some data-check on your stick. This lasts for quite a few minutes and that's annoying. So on...

[fixed] 624 - enormous CPU usage
1) I set FCXE to 'Use FreeCommander' when deleting files/folders. 2) deleted a folder (~1MB/2000files, lots of small .png-files) (send folder to recycle bin) 3) it takes tremendously long and almost freezes my machine for 3 minutes (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14257223/Opera_forum_pics/Freec...

Re: FC Locks Drive - Can't Eject Safely
My experience is like alf5000 -- if the drive is open in an FC tab, it can't be ejected. But after the tab has been closed, then it can be ejected. WindowsExplorer can eject safely even if folders are opened and FCXE cannot - that was my concern. It would be very nice if FC could do like WE. FCXE.6...
