7zip, Context menu (right mouse button click) error: cannot open mapping
Hello, when I open the context menu by right clicking on a file and then choose an option of the 7zip menu, like 'add to archive', I am getting the error message: 'Cannot open mapping #7zMap25798:264:7zEvent12040' https://abload.de/thumb/7zip_mapping_errorseepi.png If a am proceeding the same way in...

Re: Desktop Snapshot: Add active tab as destination folder
Dear Marek, thanks a lot for the fast implementation. I am already using this feature a lot. From my view, two thinks would add additional benefit: 1. Adding an option to disable the current default behavior of bringing the FC window to the foreground after every screenshot. If one wants to take sev...

Desktop Snapshot: Add active tab as destination folder
Since I did not get any answer in the General Discussion forum , I think the following feature is not implemented yet. It would be very helpful if the active tab (as a variable) could be chosen as destination folder in the desktop snapshot setup menu. With variable I mean that it should automaticall...

Desktop Snapshot: Add active tab as destination folder
It would be very helpful if the active tab (as a variable) could be chosen as destination folder in the desktop snapshot setup menu. With variable I mean that it should automatically be updated if the active tab is changed.
Is there some variable like %FcActiveTabPath%?

Propagate tab color to tabs of subfolders
I often have the case where I use the same structure of folders for different projects. So different tabs display the same name and one has to select them to see the full path and deduct the project from that. To quickly see which project (=path) a tab belongs to it would be nice if one can define a...

Re: Function "Redirect Win+E to FC" opens Start Menu (Win10)
This bug still seems to be present after 3 years when using FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 810a 32-bit public on Windows 10 Home 64 bit. A little investigation showed that it has to do with the amount of time you wait to press the second button (e). If you are doing it immediately after pressing win, t...

Re: copy via shortcut control + c not working
Shortcut control + c not working in quick viewer One has to set Ctrl+C shortcut in Quick Viewer settings (it's preset only for Viewer). However it still doesn't work after it's assigned: I have assigned the shortcut in the viewer settings and have checked the box 'Use same settings for viewer and q...

Re: colored tab does not display change of folder
Thanks for the answer. It works. But why is this inconvenient additional manual effort necessary in comparison to the case with not colored tabs? Could a solution be implemented as default behavior in a future release? Because, at least to me, the present behavior is counterintuitive. Why would I wa...

colored tab does not display change of folder
[FreeCommander XE 2019 Build 790a 32-bit public] If a tab is colored it does not display the change of the folder name if the folder is changed. Instead, the folder name stays static. How to reproduce the bug: 1. Select a tab 2. Tab Properties\Color\Background stop: Choose any color 3. Confirm (OK) ...
