Re: Problem with PDF files

I had the same/similar problem with just clicking on a pdf. It would always open. I use Foxit. My fix was to goto

Settings
View
(quick)Viewer
as Media

and remove any pdf entries in that list of file types. My problem stopped but I can't preview pdf files. No loss.

Re: Locked Tabs are not saved when saving the Setttings [XE6

This doesn't solve the bug, but does get you what I think you want.

Re: How to make FC open your choice of folders on startup

Open the tabs for C: and D: as you want. Also the tabs you wish for the other panel. Right click on each tab (you want to stay permanently) and chose one of the "lock folder" entries. Go to Tools > Settings > Folder Tabs > Tab Management and activate "Close all not locked tabs when t...

How to make FC open your choice of folders on startup

I wanted FC to always open with the same two tabs. I want a tab for my C: drive and another for my D: drive. http://ashbass.com/FC/FCstart2tabs.gif I tried many and many combinations of settings from within FC but could not get what I wanted to stick. If anyone knows how to do that please chime in. ...

Re: File copy dialogue

This is exactly what you want. I want it too. It's been added to the Feature Request forum.

Copy/Move Dialog duplicate complete source path: ani4

Add an option that will duplicate the source path (not including drive) of the copied/moved objects(s) along with the objects to the target drive/folder. The Copy/Move dialog in the Delphi-written DTree for Windows freeware file manager behaves like this. http://ashbass.com/Freeware/Freeware.html#dt...

Re: "Access is denied"

I've not tested this, but I believe that

a basic user isn't allowed to write to the Program Files folder.

So maybe c:\Program Files (x86)>dir *. > c:\mywriteablefolder\a1.prn will work.

Mouse wheel does not scroll whatever view is under cursor

FreeCommander XE 650, win7 64 I have two panels set horizontally. Each panel has its own Tree display on the left side of the panel. If I click in either panel's file list the mouse wheel will scroll whatever the mouse pointer is over. So that panel's tree will scroll, and the other panel's tree and...

Re: Mouse wheel scrolls whatever is under the cursor

The default behavior, hmm? So now to figure out why mine doesn't behave. Found it. I have two panels set horizontally. Each panel has its own Tree display on the left side of the panel. If I click in either panel's file list the mouse wheel will scroll whatever the mouse pointer is over. So that pan...
