887: Can't copy from within an Archive file to FTP
Hello, I have an issue with copy files from within an archive file directly to FTP: example: One panel shows ZIP file contents, the other panel is logged into my NAS's FTP showing one of the folders. Trying to copy files from inside the ZIP files and to the FTP, FC shows "operation is not suppo...

Re: FTP: Add the option to Move files
Hello,
Thank you for replying.
With a normal copy you can also have issues and failure. Never the less, Isn't there any option for comparing content while/after it is copied ?

FTP: Add the option to Move files
Hello, I store files locally on my computer until I decide to move them to my NAS. Becasue SMB between my computer and NAS is very slow, I use FTP which is much faster. The issue is that with FTP, FC only allows to 'Copy' files. There is no 'Move' option. Every time I want to move files to the NAS, ...

Request: FTP - allow deleting source files after successful upload
Hello, I found that updating my NAS via FTP is much faster than using UNC (\\COMP_NAME\SHARE_NAME). One small issue is that there is no option to move files to FTP: even when "moving" files (F6 or SHIFT-F6), files are actually copied (uploaded) and not moved. Is there an option to either c...

Re: Freezes on Network Shares
hello, same here. Usually it happens at home with my QNAP. usually it is only when starting FC. If you have some tabs with net shares and it open on one of them, it can take some time to open. As long as FC is opened it will usually work fast with the network. there is a parameter to set which is ca...

Re: FC 2017 B747: snap shot doesn't use actual screen resolu
Hello Marek,
I tried your suggestion and it works but it brings back an old issue already reported in the past: the icons at the top bar of FC and also the icons in the menus become very small.

Re: FC 2017 B747: snap shot doesn't use actual screen resolu
Hello Marek, Actually there is no special method. I just go to Tools > Desktop Snapshot. I use "selection rectangle.." (but it will be the same with all options), choose any of the three formats and click "snapshot". 2-3 seconds later and I get a part of the screen (top left corn...

FC 2017 B747: snap shot doesn't use actual screen resolution
Hello, When taking a snap shot (CTRL+SHIFT+F12), FC doesn't take into account high resolution screen such as a 4K TV. Instead, it will take only part of the screen or if using the "selection rectangle" it will show part of the screen in a very low resolution and save it. It looks like the ...

FC build 720: network shares - on folder change jumps to ..
Hello, When changing folders in network shares, when you go back one level up, the cursor jumps to the top (the .. folder) instead of staying on the last folder name from which you came back. e.g. In network share \\my_pc\omer there are 3 folders: folder1, folder 2 and folder 3. I click on folder 2 ...

Yet, I decided to write everything I saw - from bugs to non working features - fro the record. Maybe thee are things that marek didn't see or is nit aware of. He now got one, full impr...

FreeCommander 2010 pre-alfa: camera model won't work
Hello,
Add/Remove columns and selecting "camera model" will show the new column but there is not data/info in the column. Yet, if you hover with the mouse over the file name and wait for the tooltip to appear, you can see the camera model shown.
