Re: Missing folder icons for system folders (and some others
Yes, both my drives are local, and both have the missing folder icon. The tree view doesn't have the missing icons. I didn't realize there were File/folder list->Icons settings. But Fixed Drive had Extracted Icons and the other three had Registered. I switched Fixed to Registered and the icons appea...

Re: Missing folder icons for system folders (and some others
I did use a freshly downloaded portable version. I just tried again, this time with the 32-bit version as well as the 64-bit, and the 32-bit version didn't have the problem - the folder icons showed up for all folders. But the 64-bit version still had missing folder icons. Like I mentioned, the comm...

Re: Missing folder icons for system folders (and some others
Some are, but not all of them. And one missing folder icon is on a folder I created.

Missing folder icons for system folders (and some others)
The folder icon is blank for certain folders. It seems like only read only folders, but I can create a read-only folder and the icon doesn't go away. This just started happening and I verified that it still happens with a fresh FreeCommander (i.e. no settings). Here's a screenshot in case it helps. ...

Favorites folders support environment variables
I've been playing around with XE 519 and noticed the favorite folders paths don't support Windows environment variables in the path (like %USERPROFILE%). This works in current versions of FreeCommander and is useful when running a portable version on systems with different usernames. Is this feature...

Re: Context menu goes away after 10 seconds on 64-bit - b418
I just tested this on a 64-bit machine and it worked as expected. Does there have to be a timeout at all? Changing the focus makes it go away...that works well enough for me. Maybe there's a use case I'm not thinking of.

Context menu goes away after 10 seconds on 64-bit - b418
On Win7 64-bit the context menu goes away after 10 seconds. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but TortoiseSVN has a very involved context menu and it keeps timing out before I've selected an option. Since it's always 10 seconds, I'm guessing there's a timeout. Is there a .ini setting to change it?...

?s in the file tooltip
Extraneous question marks are shown in the date modified file tooltip.
This only happens on Windows 7 x64. My XP SP3 32-bit system has the same .ini and works normally.
FreeCommander version 2009.02a Build 412
It displays correctly in R508.

Re: Crash when entering C:\ into address bar
I'm getting the crash that was originally described on Win7 x64. I use a keyboard shortcut to edit the path, go to c:\ and it crashes. I've had it happen 3 times in the past week but it isn't consistent. It's never happened on XP. I'm happy to help debug the issue. Just let me know what you'd like m...

Raise window on MouseUp instead of MouseDown event
FreeCommander raises the window on the mouse down event. This makes it hard to drag a file to another application because the FreeCommander window gets in the way of the destination application. Windows Explorer and other similar apps raise the window only when you release the mouse button over a fi...
