590 - Sorting and Highlighted row
If you place the cursor on a row in the files list and then sort the list by clicking on a column header, the list stays in the same scroll position. If you were scrolled, say, 30% down the list before the sort, you'll be 30% down the list after the sort. This can mean that the highlighted row is no...

590 - Multimedia columns
The Dimensions and Duration columns don't work for all movie filetypes - .avi and .wmv are good, but .mpg, .mkv, .flv, and .mp4 are blank.

570 - Cursor indexing after multiple delete - 2 bugs
Use shift-click to mark several files in the file list. Do a Delete Permanently . 1) The cursor should position on the first file after the deleted group. It positions several files lower than that and equal to the number of files deleted. Don't move the repositioned cursor. Just use another shift-c...

550 - Cursor moves and loses marked status on file drop
Say you have files sorted by Date descending in a pane. If you place the cursor on a file in that pane, and then another process drops a newer file into that directory (like a download from a browser or a Usenet client), the cursor unmarks and moves up one position. The cursor should remain on the e...

550 - Cursor jumps to top of list after delete
When you place the cursor on an entry in either pane and press F8 or the Delete button to delete it, the delete works as it should, but the cursor then jumps to the top of the pane. It should just move to the next undeleted file. Otherwise, it is impossible to walk through a sequence of files (like ...

550 - Setting works initially but not after restart
Extras -> Settings -> Drives -> Show drives as popup button
Works correctly when you first set it, but if you close FCXE and then restart you get the Button Bar again even though Show drives as popup button is still set!

Re: More columns
Yes, I know Ralf. But the new FC is still in Beta with Release Candidates not imminent. I was hoping for something sooner.

More columns
I know that development is mostly going to the "New" FC Beta, but would it be possible to get more choices for columns in the current FC's "Custom Columns"? Even just the ones that Windows Explorer offers would be a big help. FC beats Explorer in every respect but this one. Seems...

Folder->Make Folder List... feature improvements
Right now, this feature exists in FC but is pretty rudimentary. Would like to see better formatting for output, perhaps by forcing a fixed-pitch font and using tabs or some other way to get good column alignment. Also it would be very helpful if columns and column order could be specified.

Make Folder List
Just started using FC. I love it. When I try to use the Folder->Make Folder List... feature, I get misaligned output. Data doesn't line up under Column Headings. And Folder Names don't align with File Names , because Bytes pushes File Names to the right. It's as though tabs are being misinterpreted ...
