Double click/tap does not work on touchscreen
When I try do double tap a file or folder in FreeCommander, using either a finger or the digitizer pen, the file/folder is selected (as with a single click/tap) but the file/folder is not opened. With mouse/touchpad double clicking works fine in FreeCommander. And the double tap with finger/digitzer...

Hi peter77, If I am not mistaken, those two actions work only for copy/move operations from the active to the inactive panel . If you download the ZIP version of FreeCommander 2009 from http://www.freecommander.com/fc_u3_en.htm (almost at the bottom of the page) there is no need for any installation. Just unzip and go!

I would love to see this functionality too! That would make FreeCommander completely independet from the windows file associations . For the standard user this might be trivial, but as leo_dk said, if you use FreeCommander as your portable file manager on multiple computers, this could be THE killer...
