Re: Auto sync
I had the same question and found this forum post. Marek - you do not happen to have some kind of auto synch on the roadmap, do you? Something like ... - Synch on freecommander launch - Schedules synch - Synch on drive connect Or maybe a command line parameter which starts FC directly in synch mode,...

Enable Shortcut-Setting for Setting "Search fraction must exist at the beginning of the text"
Hello This is a very „specific“ feature request. (Well, FC does already have nearly all major features I could think of ... ) Proposal: It would be nice to be able to set a keyboard shortcut for the setting "Search fraction must exist at the beginning of the text" (German: Elementname muss...

Re: Quick Search: make case insensitive
Hello Marek
I just wanted to reproduce and to capture it, but now I found it to be case insensitive, too.
Strange; sorry for the inconvenience!
In case it comes up again, I'd append it here.

Quick Search: make case insensitive
Hello I noticed that the quick filter (quick search box at the pane's bottom) is case sensitive, when it hid files that I wanted to find but had the search string in capitalized letters, instead of "small" letters. In settings, there is an option for diacritics, but not for case sensitivit...

Re: Highlight Recently Modified Files
Although, a default color-highlighting would be the missing 2% to reach 100%.
But I am satisfied with this; it does the trick for me.

Highlight Recently Modified Files
Hello Initial situation I want to open a specific file in some folder, and it is clear that this file is the file that has been changed most recently, compared to the other files in the folder. So, it might be a file I work frequently on, whereas the other files in the folder are more for reference,...

Re: Tags no longer function
Hello Marek, hello forum I crawled through the forum for posts regarding file tags support. Besides this one, there is also this one, a feature request: https://freecommander.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=8665&p=27698&hilit=tags&sid=170b203207937485b4169bea00a69ad8#p27698 But as the...

Re: Auto update
Hello everybody The update issue is annoying me a bit, too. The lengthy process has been shown very well above. I will probably not use the donor version any more, but the portable-apps-version. This is updated automatically via the portable apps platform. I think there are no practical disadvantage...

Re: thumbnails view: number of lines for file names
Thank you, Marek, for the very quick reply! I found that the setting is effective, but needs to be combined with the right setting "Spacing" (Abstand). There needs to be enough Y-Spacing so that the names are not "covered" by succeeding thumbnail rows. I set it to a value that su...

thumbnails view: number of lines for file names
Hello I mostly use the thumbnails view for organizing photos. Often, the filesnames are not completely displayed, because they are longer than two rows. I would like to view the whole file name, even when long, in thumbnails view, for all files in the pane. I could not find an option to set the numb...
